Acrylic processing in a dental laboratory requires the use of a Pacobath. Unfortunately, the above is another way we do it in Nigeria.
Acrylic process as shown above is the use of a plastic bucket, and a boiling ring. Clamped job is placed in a plastic bucket of water and a boiling ring connected to electricity (as shown in figure 1 above) and it is boiled for thirty to forty five minutes if partial denture and if full plate boiled for thirty minutes for the first round and a break for fifteen minutes. This round should go for two or three times for a full plate denture to be fully processed.
